By accepting these Terms of Use, you enter into a legally binding agreement with Ranoxy Clinic (“Ranoxy Clinic,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) regarding your access to and use of our technology platforms, applications (both desktop and mobile), software, communication services, websites, and content, including the website located at www.ranoxyclinic.ca and any other domains we may operate (collectively referred to as the “Ranoxy Clinic Technology Platform” or “RTP”). These Terms also govern all services provided by Ranoxy Clinic, including virtual family medicine clinic services and other personal or technological services (collectively referred to as the “Services”).
By accessing any part of the RTP or utilizing our Services, you agree to comply with these Terms. You confirm that you have read and understood them. If you do not agree, you are not permitted to access the Website, use any applications, or purchase any Services. If you are obtaining Services for a legal dependent, you agree to these Terms on their behalf.
These Terms apply to online, phone, and in-person Services. Participating in any health or medical program through the Services (the “Program”) may involve additional policies, rules, consent forms, and conditions (“Additional Terms”). These Additional Terms are incorporated by reference, and by using our Services or participating in any aspect of the Program, you agree to adhere to them. In case of any conflict, the specific terms for the Services or Program will take precedence.
Healthcare Providers (HCPs)
HCPs use the Services to provide access to healthcare. You can connect with HCPs offering medical services via telehealth through the Program. Each HCP works as an independent contractor. Ranoxy Clinic does not engage in the practice of medicine and is not responsible for the quality or suitability of care provided by HCPs.
Our Services
The RTP allows registered Users to access health services from licensed professionals in Canada, such as Medical Doctors and Nurse Practitioners. Services may include, but are not limited to, medical consultations, telehealth consultations, medical advice, health resources, and administrative support.
Health Services may involve interactive audio, video, messaging, electronic transmission of medical records, and the issuance of prescriptions.
Emergency Medical Care
In case of emergencies, call 911 or seek treatment at the nearest emergency room. Ranoxy Clinic services are not a substitute for emergency medical care.
Ranoxy Clinic reserves the right to modify or discontinue the RTP (or any part of it) at any time without prior notice and will not be liable for any changes.
Scope of Services
Health Services are exclusively provided by HCPs and may vary depending on your province or territory of residence. Ranoxy Clinic and HCPs do not replace primary care. We advise you to inform your primary care provider about any Health Services you receive. An initial consultation with an HCP does not guarantee a continued treatment relationship.
Payment and Refund Policies
You agree to the following terms concerning payments:
- Fees for Services, including subscription fees, are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in these Terms.
- Cancellations made within 72 hours of purchase qualify for a full refund; different conditions apply thereafter.
- Ranoxy Clinic may offer discounts or refunds at its discretion. We are not responsible for refunds on medications dispensed by third-party pharmacies. For details on information collected from third-party payers, please refer to our Privacy Statement.
Your Account
To fully utilize the Website, you may need to create an account. By doing so, you agree to:
- Keep your contact information current.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account and password.
- Assume responsibility for all activities conducted through your account.
- Monitor the security of your account.
Termination
You may cancel and terminate your account at any time, in accordance with the terms on the Website. Ranoxy Clinic reserves the right to terminate your access for violations of these Terms or unauthorized use.
